Once again, security cameras are installed in Grace Brothers, but the staff doesn't seem to mind as much this time. Perhaps it's because they've found a good use for it?
Let me explain up to that point....gambling fever has swept over the staff and they all go to bet on a combination that is supposed to be a sure thing, except that it's not. The first horse loses, and the staff antes up again to try and recoup their losses on horse #2. Captain Peacock reveals a tale of a sordid gambling problem in his past, but he is still tempted to make a wager on the races. They get money advances from Mr. Harman (the mobile ATM the way the maintenance staff get paid) and go to watch the race in Rumbold's office when they are busted! They get an idea--Mr. Humphries goes down to the sporting goods department to get a radio to listen to the race but since the race is starting, decides to mime the race and have the rest of the staff watch it on, you guessed it, the security cameras!!! Mr. Humpries' racing coverage is pretty thorough and we even get to see Mr. Humphries drop his trousers, but does the horse win the race? (Of course it does!)
