The staff is called up to the board room where they all think they're going to get the sack. In fact, Mr. Grainger resigns before the meeting even begins! Actually, the fate of the Ladies and Gentlemen's counters is far worse than sacking...they're being sent down to the Toy Department in order to experience working in different areas of the store! They come in a day early to explore: Mr. Humphries becomes attached to the Wibbly Wobblies and Funtime Freddy and Mrs. Slocombe has some potty training problems with her dolls!. Captain Peacock refuses to wear his new propeller hat, and poor Mr. Grainger is rehired after his resignation, but now he's the Junior to Mr. Lucas! But the staff, being the children at heart that they are (and often behave like), end up developing a flair for hawking children's necessities!
