The staff returns from their holidays to find a new senior salesperson, Mr. Tebbs. However, what really excites the staff is that the Royal Family may decide to visit Grace Brothers during their walkabout in the neighborhood. The staff rushes to prepare for the visit and stages a practice greeting session with Captain Peacock and Mrs. Slocombe standing in as the Royal Couple. Mr. Humphries, the director of this practice session, has a hard time trying to get the staff to follow instruction, Mr. Grace can't stand up to greet the couple, and Mr. Rumbold's plaster on his head just can't be covered up well. The day arrives, the staff is in full dress and ready for the visit, and decide to watch the walkabout from the window. Just when the Royal Couple is about to come in, a runaway plant causes a big scene....
