It's Mr. Grace's birthday, so it's time to celebrate! Every floor is on a mission to wish Mr. Grace Many Happy Returns when he visits, and our favorite floor is no exception! However, the lift doors thwart them yet again. Not to worry: after the birthday luncheon, there is the floorshow that our gang has cooked up for Mr. Grace after hours. With Mrs. Slocombe as Alice (age 4), Mr. Rumbold as Humpty Dumpty (talk about inspired casting), Mr. Humphries as the Fairy Prince (of course!), Mr. Lucas as Little Boy Blue in a plastic mac (don't ask), and the rest of the staff ready and waiting to sing, this promises to be VERY entertaining! Rehearsals go off well...for them, anyway: there's always a hitch or two. But then they learn that Mr. Grace has engaged a professional cabaret to entertain the staff...and the professional cabaret members are going to be putting on the exact same show as our heroes! What will the staff do now? Can Mr. Humphries' fairy dust save the day?
