Grace Brothers is going to hawk perfume and they hire an outside saleswoman (who might look a little familiar if you watch other British Comedies) to sell it. Not only is she taking away potential commissions from the salescounters, she's also distributing free gifts (a tie in irresistible gay colors and garter grip stockings that never let you down) that is making the staff even angrier. And her presentation is so well done it convinces Mr. Humphries that it might be his lucky day! While two of the three gentlemen of the Men's department try to pitch a little woo, the remainder of the staff decides to sabotage the saleswoman's display in an attempt to drive her out. It works: she resigns. The celebration is short lived once Mr. Rumbold informs the staff that the company that sells the perfume is a subsidiary of Grace Brothers! Now, if she won't come back to sell the stuff, guess who has to?
